Yes, swapping bars is my next thing in the list, stock bars have a weird angle that twist my wrists and it hurts after a while. Not comfortable to me at all.

Man, I agree. I rented a RK Standard twice over the past year. I had the same thought as you. Especially in my left wrist. I don't understand that angle at all. Glad my bike came with new bars on it. And the angle is so much better.

I don't hate them as much, but i could have them a bit higher. I had 14" on my Street Bob, and they were great, but im not sure what height i want on the RKS. I'm actually thinking 12", if not then 16". One extreme or another.

Most people hate the wind splitter, but I'm actually a fan.

If you point the vent/mail slot directly at your face, you don't get any buffeting.

It looks good, and works well... I use mine 90% of the time.

I guess Harley likes to do that so people will spend more money on "good" parts like seats, bars, exhaust, etc. I'm surprised stock bikes come with engines and wheels lol

I showed my desired sitting position to the parts dep manager at my local HD dealership and he said that 14" should work. I prefer to change the bars and keep stock lines, would be much easier if I could re-use them. Most people here said that up to 14" will work with stock lines so I'm gonna give it a try.

You'll be MUCH happier than with the stock bars. I'm thinking the Factory 47 Malo bars. They have a 7.5" pull back, which will relieve pressure on the wrists that you have now.

I can say for sure that 14" Wild 1 Outlawz bars fit with stock hydraulics. I had to clip a couple of wire tied and unsnap them from the holder on the right side of the steering head, but after doing that it looks almost like I could have gone 16". But don't quote me on that.

You will need wire extenders, but those are cheap and easily obtained from your dealer.

Thanks, man! Yes, wire extenders are about $25-30 for a kit. I'm still figuring out what brand I want to go with. I like the fatbaggers split design, looks like it will make pulling the wires real easy.

BTW, light works great!
