The All things ROAD KING SPECIAL THREAD
Beside a 122 Stage III Dyno tuned with a SE Race Tuner (yes, you read well, Race Tuner, I hacked the software and now I can use it...), a 14" DNA Monster bar and some Genuine parts... it also has some unique details....and of which I am very satisfied because they are homemade by me.... CNC machined from solid....
Custom windshield support, moved forward so I can keep the handlebar in the correct position....
Custom navi support....
Custom front turn signal...
Custom auxiliary light support, shorter and without turn signal...
Custom license plate support, without turn signal so i can use the CVO light and cover the hole in the fender...
I hope it is to your liking.....

nice ride. Can I ask how you have the flag attached? Been trying to figure out a way to attach one to mine
I made a custom bolt with a little sleeve welded to it.
Here's what I came up with. The receipt shows the parts/item list from Lowe's. I have the quick detach mounts but never put the rack or backrest on, they stay off unless I'm going somewhere.
Ignore the safety wire, I think that is coming off and was a test. I wasn't sure when I put the mounts on that they wouldn't walk or rotate but the haven't so far.
I'm going to reverse the spacers so that the mount is extended further away from the fender. Between the windscreen, me, and the lower fairings, the flags tend to "whip" instead of "fly". If I get them out a little further that might help get them into the airstream.
Don't buy the cheap knockoff mounts from Amazon. They suck *****. I have both, a cheap Amazon set and the ones I bought at the dealership made by Pro Mounts. They are made for tour racks, but as you can see, they work fine on the Road King or any model that only has quick detach mounts. It's nothing more than a 1/4x20 screw holding it on, I used the allen head.
So here are the results. You need the bushing sleeves to make it work from the hardware store. Make sure you put some blue loctite on as well.
The casual observer would never notice the mounts, just the flags.
Thanks for the compliments, much appreciated...
