I can't for the life of me get my hand and a tool back there.
I tried the vented splitter windshield from Harley but had buffeting. Look wise it was great but not doing its job for me. How tall are you? Im only 5'9, wondering if that Memphis add on would help...
It's the vented wind splitter plus a Memphis Shades Hot Wing. It does okay, not as well as the full sized shield, and definitely not as well as a full fairing. Definitely gets the pressure off your chest, but I had to tie my beard because it was blowing up my nose. The hot wing helps. I rode 1,000 miles in 3 days, could hear my music in my helmet speakers just fine.
I love the RKS, but if you're going to do a lot of longer distances, I think you might like the Road Glide better. But if you only do a couple longer trips a year and mostly just ride local, the RKS is my preferred bike. I have a big BMW touring bike too, but wanted to try out the RKS for this trip. The BMW would've been far more comfortable, but the RKS was a ball.

I'm 6'2". There's still buffeting, but at least it's not death grip on the bars due to wind on the chest.
