Ok fellas, it's - 25 F here today with windchill. Too cold to even go tinker in the garage. Fireplace is cracklin', got a frosty hazy IPA in my hand, and I'm web surfing for suspension. Now that we've all discussed windshields, what are you all running for suspension on our RKS's?
I'm 190 lbs and the wife is 115 lbs. Ride solo 80% of the time. Prefer to buy once, cry once. Thinking Ohlins HD772 in the rear and comparable Ohlins cartridge up front? What are you running and are you happy with it?
RAD1 - I'm 225lbs and ride 90% of the time solo, but I'm short as f*** at 5'5” making it tough on me to back the girl up on an incline or loose gravel. So, I put on a Front and Rear Stealth DirtyWorks Dirty Air suspension set on. Absolutely love it! Rides baby-a** smooth and can lean deep into corners without scrapping my saddle bags. I can add or remove air on the fly with or without a passenger.

Reason: addressing RAD1 post
For around $300.00 I went with the Drag Specialties 13" heavy-duty rear shocks and they work like a champ. They have all the adjustment you need at a quarter of the price of the other brands. I left my front end alone I have no issues with the stock setup.
I went Legend front and rear on both my bikes, they work great for me. I'm about the same weight as you, give or take five pounds (mostly give). I have the fronts set to zero on the RKS.
Thanks for the replies. 4 responses, 4 different suspensions lol. Guess I should not be surprised. Those in my neck of the woods getting this arctic blast - stay warm!

Asking about suspension is as bad as asking about what oil you should use. 😆
Had KST 14 Straight Jackets installed over the weekend. So much better than stock. Im glad I didnt talk myself into the 12s. These are perfect for me.
They don't fit with windshield on. Anyone know of any way? I thought of trying just the stock regular/non special Road Kings bar, but didn't know if anyone had any experience with this, or even where to find one of those bars because all I can find is Ebay items or very sketchy "Universal" fit ones...
