I've seen this mod and given it some thought. My bike is a 17' with the 107 and pretty tame performance mods, cam headers and flash. Did you have sumping issues? What made you choose to do it?
It supposed to mitigate blowby and excessive oil consumption. The NICECNC is a Chinese copy of the Trask CheckM8 Vented Top Cover. I try to buy American but I just cant justify the money Trask charges for their stuff. I mean its literally a $50.00 piece of machined aluminum.
This is from Trask regarding the CheckM8 vented top cover:
The key feature of the CheckM8 vented transmission top cover is the incorporation of a one-way Boyesen valve. This valve plays a crucial role in bleeding off excess crankcase pressure while retaining oil and air mist within the cam chest. By doing so, it enables the oil pump to operate more efficiently, leading to a significant reduction in oil exiting from the head breathers. This not only mitigates oil-related concerns but also results in improved engine performance by facilitating smoother revving.

I've got a 2015 road king police and the cruise control isn't working. I was going 45 the amber light turns on but it would go green when I set it at speed. What could be the issue?

I had a similar issue after a road trip, mine was in reverse. Not turning off, had to roll the throttle back or hit the brakes. Looked at the housings and they were all pretty dusty despite my "cleaning" the bike when I got home. I do not spray it with water but rather use the bucket and rag. Anywho, I took an old toothbrush to both housings around the switches and have had no problems since.
Your bike is pretty built yeah? Did you have sumping? Did you notice any difference after doing it?
My RKS is a 2020 so I had the new oil pump from the factory. I never had sumping issues even after pulling the crank position sensor on a few occasions. I did the vent as an added benefit for the bottom end.

Right on. I've gone back and forth on doing it. Mine is a 17' and those did have some issues. Mine never did but out of an abundance of caution, I upgraded the pump when I did the cam. I'm just about 50K miles and have thought it might help on my long slogs through the desert.
