Style question to all of you: as you can see, I did quite a few mods which changed the look a bit towards a blacked out regular Road King incl. auxiliary lights, windshield and fangs. I love my set up, just go back and forth on the chopped engine guard. While I love it on a regular RKC I am not sure about how it fits my bike as it brings the center of gravity down while aux lights, fangs and windshield do the opposite. What do you think? Any pictures of similar set ups with eg. moustache engine guard or the regular one. Thanks in advance.
I agree with Paws, thumbs down on chopped engine guards. Go for the most protection you can. Plus you have room for highway pegs or extra lights on the full size bars.
Of course you do...you & I have never agreed on anything on this forum. Those huge engine guards look awkward and very old skrewel. You ride for maximum protection...I'll take the low slung custom look every day. I ride for the classic Harley thrill/challenge. If I die tomorrow on my bike, I will die happy. I have hiway pegs on my chopped. Eeez no problemo senor...
