Rain-X on RK windshield?
After being caught riding in several unexpected thunderstorms recently, I was considering the use of Rain-X windshield water repellant on the windshield of my RK Police. Anyone know of any adverse effects when using it on motorcycle windshields? (I use it on my truck and LOVE it.)

RainX will make the windshield milky. These are the best products I have found:

Honda Spray & Shinefor plastic. Rain will bead up and blow off as well as Rain-X treatment. It's good for the outside of face shields also.
I use and swear by Rain-X on glass windshields but the label states that it is not suitable for plastic.

I likie the Wizards Mist-n-Shine. It works great, not only on the windshield, but on the whole bike. Our local HD dealer sells it, but it can also be found at NAPA.

there is a version rain-x that is suitable for lexan. be sure to use that, not regular. also, if you haven't heard, pledge works pretty good too.
