After being caught riding in several unexpected thunderstorms recently, I was considering the use of Rain-X windshield water repellant on the windshield of my RK Police. Anyone know of any adverse effects when using it on motorcycle windshields? (I use it on my truck and LOVE it.)
RainX is great for glass, but it will ruin your plastic windshield. Do a search on this forum you will find lots of people that found out the hard way.
I likie the Wizards Mist-n-Shine. It works great, not only on the windshield, but on the whole bike. Our local HD dealer sells it, but it can also be found at NAPA.
