Zumo SD Memory Card
I want to get a 4GB SD memory ard for my Zumo. Can anyone who has added one shoot me a recommendation as far as Brand goes? There seems to be a lot of choices out there. I want it primarily to load up my music for listening on the Zumo 55o MP3 player.
Thanks

Since you're going to be storing data on the card that you want to playback the speed of the card won't matter. When you look at the higher speed cards it's how fast the data can be stored to the card, such as taking pictures. You can get some pretty good prices on sandisk and they'll work fine for what you want. Check out ebay and amazon.
Circuit City usually has the SanDisk on sale. I use the SanDisk brand for everything. Good quality and a good price. Keep an eye out. They have been running the 2 GB cards for $37.00 pretty often.
Doesthis require a proprietary SD card from Garmin? I know in aviation you can not use any old card to download data to a card that's used in their machines. In aviation I have to go to another vendors website to download the software, but if the card isn't a Garmin card my GPS won't recognize it. Not sure if this applies to the 550.

Hey Pete,
I have been looking around and it seems that any good SD card will work. As someone stated before, don't pay a lot of cash for a "high speed" card. That is for the camera guys that need fast write speeds for taking multiple pics in seconds.
We will just be using it for storage of MP3's, POI's, Routes, Pics, etc.
I am going to try to pick up an 8GB card that can handle all of that without the need for switching cards later when one fills up.
