Heat is the #1 cause IMHO. The rear jug runs hotter . Withstock head pipes the right turns. Most exhaust is delivered out the right side muffler because of the balance/crossover pipe. With Tru-Duals the left turns because of the rear cylinder temp.
I have about 1K on my 07 SG with RineHart Tru-Duals, but I`m running the DTT/WEGO IID system. The bike has no heat issue`s and both cylinders are matched with the dual O2 sensors.
I will do a temperature comparison between my stock 08 FLHTCU and the 07 FLHX. This will be a good comparison to gather heat data for everyone with heat issue`s to compare.
