I thought the Parade mode was interesting. If your bike gets hot at idle, the motor will lower the rpms (to cool off)until you give it more gas. I guess once you stop at a light, do not touch your throttle until ready to go.
I used this feature on my 07 when I had the 96 stock. It worked well. But when I changed to the 103 with heads and a cam it did not work as well. Seemed that the cam liftimpacted the ignition cycle enough that when it went into heat mode it would stall in extreme heat. That is a bummer since hot starting a 10.5:1 CR engine in 90 heat is not fun. I shut off the heat mode after that.
