I just bought a 07 ultra and was reading on another forum that I need to get a power commander 3 cuz the bike is leaned way down an also wanta get a set of slip on's for it an need to re-map for them..bike puts out a lot of heat...anyone else have these issues and am i correct in thinking i need to re-map?
welcome, i do not have an 07 but i do have a 98 efi roadking but there is lots and lots of information regarding 07 and other years..most members report lean running engines on EFI do to EPA compliance..some use power commanders others use DFO (Digital fuel optimizers), downloads etc., etc.
the general opinion is slip on mufflers require no change, on the other hand an air cleaner change does require some kind of fuel update (more fuel)..and since most people change-out to a K and N or other high flow air cleaner
you may consider using the search function on the bottom of the screen for tons of further information..
again welcome, stay safe and enjoy the ride...
