Can I run a a/c with a slip on without a tuner

No, don't do it. I assume you mean a high flow air cleaner, it will run way to lean. Just the slip on's, OK.

This seems to be a topic that gets a lot of different responses. Some will say no problem. Some will say don't do it. I vote for don't do it. If you change both the efi will adjust the air/fuel ratio and make it very lean. This will result in HEAT. You already have too much heat thanks to the EPA dictating the air/fuel ratio too lean.
