Default Dyna wheels on bagger

I have a 2007 road glide. I want to put 9 or 13 spoke mag wheels off a fxd. I'm a machinist I can pretty much make anything to retro fit these wheels. Just wondering if anyone has done this before and what wheels I should buy to make it easier in terms of bearings and hub sizes

you're lucky, but don't know it

Here's an immediate consideration...
That front wheel is a 19x2.15". A 110 (110/90-19 with an associated LOW load rating) would the widest tire recommended for that width.

...So, there's that

REAR (easiest)
The Rear 16x3" is the easiest...Pick a 2000-05 Dyna (3/4") or 00-04 (3/4"), 05-07 (1") sportster rear wheel because they run the same 21mm wide bearing as your 07 FLTR and all you'll have to do is enlarge the clearance hole for the larger 1" axle/center spacer sleeve (if applicable) and use your existing spacers. If you pick a 08-later sportster (no dyna 16x3 from 06-later), they use the thinner 25mm ID x 15mm wide bearings, you won't have to enlarge the center hole, but you'll have deepen the bearing bores, at least the "primary side bearing" bore (maybe both, I'd have to check) OR let the 21mm wide bearings protrude slightly and make new wheel/axle spacers.

FRONT
2000-03 Dyna (3/4"), 04-05 Dyna (1") or 2000-07 sportster (3/4"), so enlarge the center accordingly. 08-later sportster again are 25mm and different bore depths

Your wideglide hub is almost 2" wider (~1/16" less) than the Narrowglide Dyna/sportster

You'll need rotor spacers, maybe a custom axle with different positioned bearing ID surfaces OR optionally a continuous bearing ID surface.

OR maybe you can make/buy a rotor spacer which will accept bearings and then can position the bearings more outboard ...just throwin' it out there

Sure ya can mount up about any wheel with proper machining (I got a 17" Softail wheel on my electraglide) but not a fan of skinny tires on touring bikes...
