Default Dyna wheel bearings

Whats going on guys just trying to get some clarity on wheel bearings. Been told couple things seeing if anyone done it. I have a 04 fxdl with spoke wheels. I was told has 1 inch bearings front and rear and iv been told 1inch front and 3/4 rear, just had surgery so havent pulled them apart yet. my buddy has some mags i want to pick up and throw on but there 3/4 bearings. Is it as easy as removing and replacing with my size bearings and spacers or are the completely different? thanks

Yes, 04-05 Dynas (except for WG) have 1" Front and 3/4" Rear axles.

What bike did your buddy's "Mags" come from?

If the FRONT is an Original wheel from a 3/4" axled bike (2000-07 Sportster / 2000-03 Dyna ), you'll have to enlarge the "Clearance" Hole for your larger 1" axle/spacer sleeve

The bearings used on your year/model has H-D pn 9247 front and 9267 rear.

Measurements for 9247 (front):
ID 1in x OD 52mm x Width 21mm

Measurements for 9267 (rear):
ID 3/4in x OD 52mm x Width 21mm

Check out this link for detailed parts diagrams...

According to this 2001 DYNA MODELS PARTS CATALOG 01 Dyna cast wheels front & rear have p/n 9267 (ID 3/4in x OD 52mm x Width 21mm)

Rear wheel should be a direct fit.
03 cast front wheel needs the 9247 bearings. As far as I can see in the parts diagrams all other parts on your '04 FXDL like axel, spacers etc. can be reused on the cast front wheel.
