I have to add that if their is no paperwork supporting a rebuild, assume it has not been rebuilt. 
I met a guy local here a couple years ago who said the po rebuilt his 02' FLHTCI including upgraded cams, but the damned thing makes more racket than my 06' with 130,000 miles on it and I can still out accelerate and outrun his junk.
So take it all with a grain of salt and carry on like it's new to you and ride it like you stole it. Jus sayin!
