long ride shields review
I put a 12 inch ultra elite L.R.S. on my 08 ultra.first off at the price i paid for this wind screen its really hard to beat.I got it at the winter sale price.even at the regular price there still cheaper then most others.the first thing i notice when i got the bike out was some slight red discoloration in a few small spots at the top where it curves.I then quickly realized it was my prescription polarized riding glasses.this dose not bother me because i look over the top any way.this windshield is thinner then my old one so i wondered how it would hold up at high speeds.took her on the big road up 80 mph and the windshield did not move one bit. this surprised me, i really thought the wind would move it around.now i think if your your riding into a heavy head wind it very well might move around.when i was reading reviews on these ,there were some who said they got alot of side buffeting.I experienced none,this made me very happy.was also concerned that the wife would get beat up with more wind.she says it works great,claims there is less wind then the old one.my old windshield was a 13 inch slip streamer with no curve at the top.all in all i think these shields are well worth the money.Another plus is L.R.S will allow you to try it out on your bike to make sure it works for you,just don't remove the plastic cover.if you do remove it ,you own it.also from what i understand L.R.S customer service is second to none.I am not affiliated with L.R.S in any way other then being a satisfied customer.

Best bang for the buck. Have a bunch of them hanging around. I have seen/read where some people got a defect but LRS would quickly make it right given the opportunity. Just can't justify any other makers as long as LRS is on the block.
