I installed lower fairing speakers but they aren't Boom Audio.
I didn't find it difficult at all.
It's been a while so I don't really remember any specifics. I do recall using the search function here and finding a bunch of threads where people took the time to walk you through what they did, how they did it, and even every single part number, screw size, etc, that they used. I may have even made duch a thread myself.
I am currently doing a similar setup on my 15 ultra limited. I ride solo w/out tour pack 70% of the time. I ordered the molex 4 pin and 16 pin connectors from the dealer to make a harness to couple the speakers to the tour pack connector that is just laying under my seat when tour pack is off. Speakers are installed and just waiting on connectors. No need for amp as always 4 speakers as stock. Oops answer was meant for next posting
