How bout thoughts from someone who won't own one? That seems valid, after all if one is honest with themselves, these items aren't just for oneself, people like hearing "hey, that looks nice"
That being said...DO NOT DO IT
BTW, I'd like to be the seat on her bike

I had one on my VTX1800C and it was cool Also had power commander and Cobra exhaust. Looked cool and sounded cool. That was about 10 years ago. I wouldn't put one on my Limited but if you like it go for it.
Besides it being a good price why do you want one?
It looks interesting but it also looks like it might suck in water in the rain. It also looks overly complicated and the more complicated something is the more there is to fail.
If you want it for performance I'm not sure what you will gain over a good high flow filter/intake. It's always been my understanding that a good intake will flow more air than the engine can use.
We're it me, I'd pass.
I had one a few years back on a Fatboy. It worked fine, no problem in the rain, bike ran well and it looked good. It's true there are moving parts (butterfly's) that are probably more for show and they can rattle a little if the bushings get worn but the bushings are replaceable. Overall I was satisfied with it, if that's what you like go for it.
Looks like ****. Wouldn't buy anything from Kuryjunkin ever.
Much better options for $250 Cdn. I've seen brand new take-off Ventillators go for far less on Kijiji
My wife's sportster came with one and we removed it. There are a couple of reasons for removing it from her bike. One of the problems (for her) was that the charger made her sit in an awkward position. A second problem was that it leaked oil because the rubber boots from the head breathers had cracked allowed oil to spill on the motor.
We replaced the hyper charger with a stock air cleaner and screaming eagle exhaust. The carb had never been jetted or altered and we noticed zero difference between using stock air box and the hyper charger.
I am not saying to not buy this item, but on my softail I have the arlen ness big sucker and feel that is a better intake.
