I have the 06 street glide...it ride great to me...everyone complains about the hard ride...but its a damn motorcycle. As far as I am concerned thats part of the fun. My question is that I am riding to Vegas from Los Angeles this weekend and I think I may need a litte support to lean back on...anyone have any ideas that can be incoroprated by Saturday. I have the stock seat still and not sure if I need to change the entire set up to get a back rest???
Put your sleeping bag on the passanger seat with a bungee cord and ride!! Don't spend the big bucks for a backrest that will ruin the lines of your bike.
I have a 51632-06 that I purchased the day I got my bike.Decided on a new Corbin seat and never put it on the bike.I'd like to get rid of it and will accept any reasonable offer. Will ship it 2nd Day Air tomorrow via UPS,at my expense,so you will have it by Thursday if you are interested.
I apologize if this post comes across the wrong way.Just looking to move this and can save somebody some cash if they are interested in the Street Glide backrest.
I am searching to see what this part looks like...will it work with my stock seat? Are all parts needed to assemble it to stock SG? I am in Los angles, CA
Yes it's for a Street Glide. There is a slit in your stock seat that the post on the backrest mounts into. The pad design is an exact match that of the Street Glide. All parts needed for installation are included.I have several pics that I can e-mail you if need be.
Los Angeles or Maine it doesn't really matter with UPS 2nd Day Air it will be there in 2 days.
