I have a 08 street glide I have not started it in about a year I installed a new battery and new gas it started right up put won't idle down it stays at 1000.rpm ?
I think most TC's idle about 950-1000 rpm
Some EFI Controllers allow Idle Adjustments
You can file down the tip of the throttle stop or if you have the tool readjust it to lower the idle a little.

Thats normal.
My bone stock 09 TC 96" has always idled @ 1k rpm when at norm op temp.
