Good move passing on the Roadmaster. I tested one and that was a hot ride. The new gps makes it more attractive but it should be thousands cheaper than a Limited. The 111 isn't as good as the 103. The 107 is better yet. if your gonna trade go all the way to the m8 sounds cheaper to keep the 13.

Why? Many of of us have rode the m8 several times and still own the tc. The m8 is not all that some make it out to be

I have the last year of the FXSTC, for now, and would not part with it.

I wouldn't go with an Indian unless I tried a M8 Harley. The OP came close to buying a 2016 twin cam earlier but hasn't considered a 2017 touring Harley with the M8 engine.

Of course keeping his current ride is probably the best option.

I agree. I rode one. And raced one. I'm not impressed enough to dump my 16.

Well, kinda sounds to me like you want to replace your bike, but haven't found the right replacement yet. If you keep on looking, eventually you will find a replacement bike.

Will that make you happy and content? Dunno, but I would guess not. Or at least not for long.

Personally, I don't know of anything special about the last year of the air cooled bikes that would make them specially worthy of keeping.

There is a lot to be said for learning to be content with what you already have.

Yeah, yeah, yeah! I was gonna keep my Road King forever! It was everything I ever wanted and more, but 8 years passed and needs and wants changed. When you're ready you'll do it! Until then, ride it like you stole it. As for keeping the last of a kind, way to over rated!!

You made the right choice. Indians are what I would call birth control motorcycles. They are the ugliest machines on this earth surpassing even the ugliest of farkled out hondas. I also heard that riding an Indian makes your wiener shrink by at least 2 inches.

Thunder stroke is a fitting name for a motor that has to haul all those tassels from gay bar to gay bar.
