He rod ends
Just ordered heim rod end kit,for. Shifter linkage,just read a post on them is it as good as a upgrade as said,already came across this dude with broken linkage

My lawn mower has a similar joint in the steering , albeit larger, as this. Its broken twice. After the first time, I installed the heim joints on my 1.5 year old flhtc. Stranded on my lawn, no biggie. Side of the road unacceptable

Mine broke with about 12k miles. Left me on side on road. Jammed ball end back in socket and figure 8'd a bandana around it. Got me the 60 miles home but glad it was mostly highway and didn't have to shift much. Now have heim joints on both my bikes.
