Hi all. I've been searching for some time to do this project. Going to do the upgrade on my 04 RK to Brembo Calipers and Enforcer front wheel. Looking at Calipers online I found a set that says fits 2014-2016 Street Glide. Did the Brembo's change in a certain year or are they the same from 08 and up? Thanks for clarifying for me.
It's up to you, I still run my '02 master cylinder. You will want to compress the pistons all the way on those calipers to purge out the dot 4 fluid. Pour in some denatured alcohol and blow it out with a little air. Pick up some new dot 5.
Check the reservoir cap, 2004 should be dot 5.
It's my understanding you need to use the Mcyl off of a Brembo bike as well
Not because of the different brake fluid but because of a requirement for a different brake fluid capacity, stroke, whatever. Like i said, I'm not sure what the reason was but I seem to remember there was a reason. Hopefully someone can shed some light on this.

You are quite right, however there are some of us using older master cylinders.

Slightly different bore size and lever on the newer master cylinder. Not critical to change it,many of us use the older M/C with the Brembo's and they work just fine. Not a bad to upgrade to braided hoses while you are at it,I'm still using the stock 2001 M/C and hoses on my 2001.

I have all braided lines on my 04 so im good sticking with them but..... The Calipers that I bought came off a 2016 ABS bike and include the ABS lines with them. Do I understand correctly that im not able to use the ABS brake lines on my bike with the calipers?
