That Jims is a nice looking unit. Much better than the rest of the fans on the market.I don't know how good they work, but they look great.

My bro has the JIMS Forced Air on his S&S 124" 2015 RGS.

Nice unit, but I must say, I prefer Jason Wards Fan Werks more.

Is Jason at Ward Werks not honoring his warranty ? I have emailed him regarding a fan that failed within a year of purchase for two weeks and haven't had the courtesy of even a response.

I have no doubt if Jason could, he would bend over backwards to make it right...

However.....

Apparently love jugs forced out/bought out Jason due to a patent issue. They took his design (yep, same one they touted as worthless) and now sell them as "mighty mites" or something like that.

Jason has been MIA since the takeover. I gotta believe there is a "no compete" clause in the deal, which requires he must also stay silent on the whole issue.....

Do a search, someone posted info on replacement fans for Jason's set-up...

I guess it is fruitless to respond to this theory that keeps hanging around like diaper rash. The only reason I'm doing this again is that if we don't reply it makes this nonsense seem like it's truthful. So here we go again. If you want to do some research yourself you will find that not one word of the above theory has even the slightest basis in the truth.

I can categorically state that Hammerhead Engineering did not force/buy out, have any non-compete, or influence Jason Wards actions in any way. In fact we've never directly spoken to the man.

Jason's actions are his actions and he is 100% responsible for them. We wish him well and hope there is no serious health issue that has led to his lack of any kind of response to even his most loyal supporters for an entire year. No explanation, no apology, no fixes on the many broken fans under warranty, no mea culpa - not a word. So handle this with Jason rather than making up unsubstantiated slanderous theories that we had any hand in this behavior.

I apologize for jumping to conclusions.

Your company touted your patent, Jason disappeared, and you now sell his fans..... My prior experience with a buyout suggested to me that a forced buy-out with no-compete/gag clause was the logical reason why Jason just disappeared... and let's be honest, if that was the case, it wouldn't be in your best interest to admit to it, for fear of bad publicity...

I will accept your explanation ...

I only know that Jason provided some of the best customer service I have experienced. Based on my experience, it is unlike him to just disappear.

I too hope his disappearance is not due to some sort of personal tragedy.

I jumped to the same conclusion as you, and until someone outside of Hammerhead Engineering comes up with a better explanation I'll continue that line of thought. If I'm wrong it wouldn't be a first,,,,,
