To Talldog: My Ward's fans have not only a thermo switch but also have a manual switch. I leave the fans off until I see I'm approaching 230 degrees. I see no need to run the fans when the engine is cooler. Also, when I park the bike in my trailer, I see no reason to let the fans run. They work wonderfully as I have posted tests of them running and not running and verifying the difference. They work. Period. Of course there is a little heat that blows on my right leg, but nothing that is uncomfortable. If my fans stop working some day and Jason has a product that will help, I will seriously entertain doing business with him again.
And count me in on choosing to not do business with Love Jugs. Their legal right vs. the ethical and moral rights don't jive. As someone who had a small business, I can empathize with Jason on how his improvements were stolen. We can debate forever if he should have hired a patent attorney and filed for an improvement patent. My wife has several. But China has copied her improvements already so she is screwed. Best of luck to Jason and Love Jugs. May you both reap what you sow.
Not sure what i am going to buy , but love jugs reply just does not seam right ! If the talk is bullshit then why even respond ? Unless there is some truth init WE WILL NEVER KNOW BUT NO LOVE JUGS FOR ME !!!!!!!
I did not hear that about Jason and his fan product. I bought a set from him 2 or 3 years ago and love them. Great product and great guy to buy them from. When the thermal switch failed he just sent another without question. I don't know anything about those other brands of this product but sure hope Jason is able to stay in business with either these or an improved, but likely a little differently configured fan set.
