2015 Street Glide special, stock premium boom audio.
Since the latest update (Version: 1.21.0.4) this year, the navigation prompts keep turning back on. I've had the feedback menu box unchecked since getting the bike new. Took me a minute to realize why my tunes kept cutting out since I also keep the prompt volume at it's minimum.
Doesn't happen every time I set a destination, and haven't been able to figure out why it keeps defaulting back to being 'checked' in the menu. So far seems to be random. Getting to be real annoying with the tunes cutting out, and going back in to turn the prompts off over and over.
I've done a Google search as well as one here, can't find reason. Anyone dealing with this or have a fix?
This was reported by a couple of members in the 1.21.0.4 update thread. Apparently, it's a glitch. Just for grins, have you tried resetting the system?

I have put a lot of miles on since this started, and I still can't figure out exactly what causes it to become unchecked. The only relationship that I've found is that it is usually happens after a restart (fuel stops, etc.), but not every restart. No, I don't always power down when fueling, but sometimes I have to.
It is very annoying, as I don't rely on the Boom! as my primary navigator. I only use it for overview/back-up. Then it starts spouting commands over my primary GPS, and it gets very frustrating. Kind of like have the wife and daughter trying to talk at the same time.
I haven't tried the most recent software (1.21.3.1).
After your last trip did you select and click on "STOP".
Other wise it will continue going to the same place over and over again.
But if youve disabled the prompts you shouldnt hear them even if you have a destination set. The OP had turned off prompts but they keep coming back on...
Mine does the same thing. Use the GPS to get somewhere and have to turn them off. Stop the route like normal. Then 2 weeks later, use the GPS again and have to turn the prompts off again. Not sure why that setting wont save. Its annoying that it makes you back all the way out to the main setup to do this also.
Seems to me that any time you start a route, most will want the prompts. If the route initiation didn't also initialize the prompts, there would be a way larger number of complaints saying there were no nav prompts when routing was active. This may be one of those things that a choice was made that gave the least number of complaints? IDK

I disagree.
If someone wants prompts, they'll leave the box checked.
I don't want the boom to talk to me, so I uncheck the box. It should stay that way until I change it.
