Default New motor

Good evening all. I have a 2011 flhtp, and I am considering putting a new motor into it over the winter. My current motor has about 36,000 miles on it. There's nothing wrong with it, just thinking of upgrading for some more power. I considered adding a bolt on kit, but the dealer told me that I would have to send the bottom end out for the crank to be welded, adding another thousand to the bill. How much could I expect to spend on an upgraded motor, possibly a 110, and installation?

Having your crank trued, plugged, and welded is the right way to go about it.
You could get an S&S motor to put in, for between $7 and $12K depending on what you want.

At that point, which you should weld the crank anyway, why not bore the cases and go with an s&s or fuel moto 117 kit. Add some head work and that bike would put a huge grin on your face.
