In the spring I'm going to start recording some of our days in the shop each week (lots of head scratching, fabrication and spark flying, occasional beer drinking, and some salty language). I'll dedicate a day of it to brake bleeding (we have a 2016 Roadglide Special in the shop that we can show).

ALSO: We have all products back in stock! We just received our latest materials order this morning.

You will want our HD1 4 pin product as you will need to get the air out of the HCU.

Was that front and back?

It is said this only affects certain year models, so the issue is framed, ripe, and ready for litigation someday.
From what I have read, the issue has happened front only, or rear only, and very rarely front and back simultaneously - that one would be the doosey, and will probably provide the money shot in court.
No doubt about it, the issue is recall worthy, and not just a flush game and a bony finger pointed at the bike owner.
Didn't get a recall on my dyna fxdc 2013 wonder why it has abs as well. I heard recall is on baggers only HUM!!!

you just compressed the calipers when you wiggled the rotors around, no worries.

that's why you usually pump the brakes on a car after any brake work, push the calipers/pads back onto/near the rotors.

Could you take the calipers off and put something between the shoes to take up the space of the rotors. Spin the wheels while applying the brakes to get the ABS module to cycle? This my first ABS bike, but thought I read the wheel bearings tell the ABS they are turning.

OR what am I missing?

I believe the ABS brain compares the front wheel to the rear wheel so you would at least have to spin both wheels at the same RPM. In addition, the ABS looks for the wheel locking up and slippage, not that it is spinning.
