didn't they say it should be part of the regular maintenance plan....if thats the case, if you have a pre-paid maintenance plan, i wonder if it would be covered or maybe done already.

Just did it and yes you need to get the ABS motor pumping to get all the fluid cycled through - I am lucky have access to a full shop - My buddy charges just under 100 bucks for the service. $200 pretty pricey!!!!
Should do it every 10K or 2 years - type 4 sure can hold moister which can really screw your brakes up.

I do my truck every two or three years. Did the Jeep Grand Cherokee I had before that about the same. Before that I didn't really know it should be done.

nope just had the brakes done on my truck and did a brake fluid flush the fluid was cloudy , that means moisture in it which is bad news
