ive always wanted to try a tank lift on my Road Glide. So i decided to install DK customs 1.5 inch deluxe tank lift on my 2010.
As you can see from the pics, it indeed does as advertised however the deluxe version does just a bit more by allowing you to lift the back of the tank as well.
I followed the instructions carefully and ended up with about an hour of my time in this mod.
i was concerned the tank might be too close to the bars, but the deluxe kit allows the tank to slide backwards and provides a way to adjust the gap.
overall im pleased, my advice to everyone and to DK customs all tank lift kits should be purchased as the deluxe kit. it makes the install, look and function better.
1.5 lift in front, back lifted as well, barely visable adequate gap full lock left full lock right

I also had a tank lift on a bike some years ago. Thanks as I kind of forgot about it and did like what it did. Looks good on your bike and should do good for one, maybe both of my bikes.
I like that it creates an almost seamless line with the bottom of the fairing. I had one on my Night Train, I might have to get one for my RGS now. Thanks for the pics!
Wife asked me why I kept looking at your bike last night. I explained I had this mod before and why I wanted again.
So now that you have this done are you gonna clean the rocker box covers?
short answer yes, eventually. riding today and expect afternoon showers, thought i would clean up the dirt all at once, no sense cleaning then riding in the rain.
