Cool I've seen the light

After reading all those threads on changing your brake fluid every 2 years and what can go wrong if you don't, I have booked my bike in to do the same.
I was considering stretching it to December before doing it - but that would make a full 3 years since I got my bike before flushing the brake fluid - which I judged might be pushing my luck.
Better to get it done now - only 6 months overdue rather than tempt fate.

No sense tempting fate. Had mine done as well. Have not needed the ABS but nice to know it will work if ever needed.

On my '09 RG I never had it done. I physically tested the abs every time I rode it. Was still working a month ago when I traded it in.

You might have been pushing your luck a bit there as it is a well known fact that brake fluid absorbs moisture over time, to the detriment of performance.

And, even if you never change it, I can guarantee you that it will definitely work all the way until it doesn't! 😂

Not saying it shouldn't be done, just saying 2 years is pretty early. Anyways I asked for a fluid change about 4 years in and my indy said why? (Dealer mighta said different)Is it giving you problems? For sure changing it is a good idea I'm just suggesting 2 years might be overkill.

All I'm saying is that the owners manual says 2 years. The service manual says 2 years. The manufacturer is sending out reminders that say 2 years. 2 years is sounding pretty good right about now, no?
