My thoughts are, you don't know how hard it was ridden. People that ride their bikes hard, inevitably will have more breakage. I ride my bike fairly easy (except under overpasses) and shift smooth, keep my fluids changed. but you never know. I would if I had the extra money. Get it for as long as you can.

That is only 15 miles per week. I put more mileage than that on my shoes.

stupid question IMO. do you want to worry about a possible mechanical issue/cost, or take a minimal risk. You decide as I cannot for you. Warranty's are sold to make money not lose money so what can you guess is the answer on a low milage trouble free bike?

Thanks OP, until today I never met anyone that needs Stabil in their tank all year round. I thought folks just used it in their bike in the winter and snowblower in the summer.
