I've really enjoyed my Hogtunes speakers for the last couple months. No amp. It's not any louder but WAY better sound! I got the RG speaker grills too and it looks great.
these speakers are more efficient than most and will give more sound per watt than most.
a "watt" rating on a speaker is how much power they can consume- it has nothing to do with how much sound they put out
mike
So I had glanced at this tread a few days ago..
And sure as ****, my 4 month old Hogtunes replacement speakers that the PO had (came with bike and I installed) right speaker took a giant turd today.
Looks like I'll be checking these as well as the Hogtunes are warranties to original purchaser only.
So...
Just to whip a dead horse..
These speakers with the rings will replace the 5.25"
Hogtunes?
Anyone know what the output is on the HK head unit off the top of their dome? I'm gonna pull the front off and just want to make sure my head unit is good.
The crap tunes box says the blown speakers are rate at 50w RMS 100 peak.
I'm gettin ready to pull the trigger on a pair and some rings
