I'm 6'4" and ride a 2010 ultra and changed from the stock 12" the 13" ultra recurve and love it I haven't lost a dew rag or hat all season sitting upright it's in line withe the bridge of my nose so I can see over it and not too far to go if I have to tuck under it. Lrs is a stand up company and would definitely recommend one over any other brand
Just make sure that you keep the top of the shield out of your view. There is nothing more annoying that taking a long ride and as you relax the top of the shield creeps into view.
I am glad that you are happy with your new shield.
I have to agree,I put a 12 inch on and after riding awhile i find my self looking at the edge. But i love these L.R.S. windshields. At the price they offer these shields i'll just put a 10 inch on at a later date.you won't regret going with L.R.S.
On my Road King's "Winter Fairing", I have the LRS Elite Recurve installed, and it is spot on. It's one inch lower than the previous shield, but same in coverage. Great company, great product.
If you really want to change the air flow on a Street Glide install the forks fangs. (i know some don't like the looks) I'm running a LRS re-curve and installed the fork fangs for winter riding and they made such a difference I've left them on.
6' tall, '15 street glide
Immediately went to LRS recurve and HD chrome fangs,(yes, I don't like the looks). Fantastic wind protection.
Then after one season went to Chinese lowers. Looked great but fangs would hit, so I'm told. Less protection, helmet vibes worse, updraft from tank area worse.
Going to Sturgis and thinking going back to fangs and no lowers.
I ran JES fangs on last bike with lowers but they are the ultimate in bent pieces of crap bolted on, curved HD ones far better quality and looks.

So disagree on the fangs. The JES blend in and match the bike. The Harley chrome ones are giant out of place ugliness. But as has been said... beauty is in the eye of the beer holder...

Fangs will work with lowers, I and many others have both. Had to ever so slightly bend the fang forward to not touch. That slight tweek is enough for HD to say it wont fit. Where theres a will, theres a way so give it a try since you already have all the pieces
