When I installed the HD Deflectors on my 'King, one made contact with a passing light, the other touched the engine guard.
Nothing a rubber mallet couldn't fix, however! Tap 'em around to get the fit or gap you want, it's not a big deal.

I'm thinking about putting the fangs on my 2011 Electra Glide. I have a LRS which has cut down immensely on the head buffeting, but I still get too much over 50 mph. I've tried a couple of different helmets, no helmet and fairing wind deflectors. I don't mind the wind in my face, it's the head in a paint shaker that sucks.

If your helmet has one of those tiny removable visors, try taking off. Those will cause some shake if caught in the air. Ultimately the fangs took care of my head buffeting issues

I'm looking at getting a taller windshield for my 14 Limited. But, I've heard a few riders comment that while the recurve does a good job pushing the wind over the driver, it hits the passenger. Anyone have that experience.

Just got my LRS Stringray delivered today, unfortunately I went down last weekend so it'll be a few weeks before I get to install and try it out. Sucks. Oh double hit, just saw they're on huge sale now too...

No. Also riding a '14 Ultra. I went 1" shorter then stock. I specifically asked my wife if she noticed any change and she said "no".

Only had one passenger that was on it before and after the flat top elite and she said it was better with the new shield
