Vibration

Hey guys,

i just picked up a 05 police edition Electra glide. I love the bike! The question is how much vibration should I expect? I had an 08 Heritage before and it's quite different.

Any other police bike owners wanna share share some pics?? I have some ideas but I would love to see what mods you have done.

Your heritage had a balanced solid mount engine. Your cop bike does not. Check your engine mounts and make sure they're in good condition.

This is my '12 Road King Police. She vibrates a lot more than my FatBoy did at idle but it's much smoother at highway speeds. I love it!!!

Good looking bike! Im looking forward to a few changes I would like to make. Did you add the flames? I will take a look at the engine mounts. Is there anything I can do to tone it down? Maybe a different type of engine mount?

Check out the Glide Pro Engine mount. There have been a lot of positive reviews. I have one myself, just have not had time to install it yet.

I may be a total & complete nut, but I love the feel of the Harley idle vibrations, especially after I had the forged 103'' pistons in place of the cast 96'' pistons.
