The 2013 version is the latest and last Microsoft offered since the advent of affordable GPS. I've had a version of MS Streets since 2002.

I plan ALL of our trips on this because I go where I want, on what roads I want and can see all of the cut outs around towns and cities.
the only problem with this is since ms is not updating it anymore, it could hem you up somewhere when you least expect it.

I believe this is the 'dumbest' thing anyone has ever said on here.

This is like saying that a "roadmap" shouldn't be trusted because it's 20 years old.
All roads still go the same place.
They haven't rerouted or renumbered roads since the great renumbering of 1927.....

So you're saying that there have been no additions/removals of roads in the past 20 years that could lead you astray?

I definitely know of some roads that aren't on my GPS, and it's only 5 years outdated... Route 33 in ohio will take your through the middle of no where on an old GPS (found that out on my way back from Michigan last month... haha.

call it dumb if you want. but I can tell you from experience, if you don't use an updated map and you try to go through Houston, tx, your gps will have you going the wrong way.....

Anyway to pick a US route # and a starting location and ending?
Say I want to ride US30 from Pittsburg to Portland.
