I have noticed that ia am getting some clattering noise from my primary when the motor is warmed. It has always been louder since i installed my cams a couple of years ago. But now i am getting primary noise. I am gonna check my chain tension on it this weekend. I wonder if the chain tensioner needs changed out? The bike has 25,000 miles on it and it has gotten harder to shift from 1st to 2nd and has become harder to find neutral when its hot. Any ideas????

 

Could be inner primary bearing. When mine went out it rattled like hell.The rattling was the clutch hub hitting the inner primary.
