Transport mode
I have a 2003 RKC and 2015 RGS. I am moving across country and have already had all my belongings shipped (i.e. my bike manuals). Bikes are being shipped next week.
What is the process to put bikes in transportation mode? Does the 03 even have it? Can transportation mode be skipped if I just have the keys put in the saddle bags?

To answer your 2nd question, yes you still need to use transport mode even with FOB on the bike. Every time the bike bounces, it'll send out a signal awaiting for a response from the FOB. No FOB= alarm. FOB= no alarm and will continue to be armed waiting for next movement, to repeat cycle all over. Until battery's are dead
