I've got a friend who is buying a new windshield for his Rushmore FLHTK. He offered to sell me the stock one for a very low price. Will it fit my 2011, or can it be made to fit with minor modifications?

Anyone tried this?
I've tried the Search function with no luck
Nope not plug and play.
It can be made to fit, I've done it.
It's a PITA and not pretty.
You're much better off to buy a new windshield. Long ride shield, LRS, makes good, reasonably priced ones.

This is what I was looking for, thank you.
The reason I asked is because I want a stock-looking windshield thats a little shorter than the one on my 2011. The used one came up in conversation for $50 (although I could probably get it for less).
Not too many aftermarket pieces available for that price.
If you spend any time at all in the saddle you will very much appreciate most any of the flip designs. If you have a passenger, all the more but may need to go a bit higher for them. I like mine just below the nose as I hate looking through a shield.

Think I paid $70 for my LRS shield (7" ultra model for my 11 limited) shipped to my door. They frequently run sales.

All you need is a jig saw and you can cut it down yourself. I cut my '13 Ultra shield down.
