I just upgraded to 2013 Ultra Limited
I just traded in my 2012 Fatboy Lo for a 2013 Ultra Limited! I had an Electra Glide before and after I sold that bike I got a Goldwing. Hated that bike and sold it. Took a 4-years off from riding and decided to get back in and bought the Fatboy. Once you ride a touring bike it's hard to ride something else. Got the bike home and found that the fuel gauge wasn't working and the heated grips were bad. They came and picked up the bike yesterday and fix these issues. I also bought the 2-year extended warranty...good thing I did. Nice to be back on a touring bike!

You're going to love that bike! God catch on the heated grips. Without them, riding in WPB could be unbearable.
Also, if the CAT is intact, you're probably going to want to ditch it. I installed a FM micro tuner and removed the cat on my '12, and it made riding a lot more pleasant.

It had heated grips but had them removed and replaced with stock, non-heated grips for now. I'm new to throttle by wire, and I'm looking at the Harley Slip stream grips however they come with the throttle wire attachments on them. How do I get around this?

You looking at the Slip Stream heated grips? The throttle stuff are in the bars.
