So, how do those ride?
I sat on one at the dealer.
It was like picking my Heritage up off the kickstand.
Gotta be trade-off. I didn't like the bars or the little bicycle
grips (easy change) but the thing was LOW!!
I also test rode a Switchback.
More on that later. (Dyna Forum)
I have a 2015 Ultra Limited Low and I love it!
I am 5'8" so I like that it sits lower.
As for the ride, my wife and I have done several longer trips on it (1700 miles) and not once were we uncomfortable.
I did change the grips right away and eventually swapped out the swept bars for some 10" PY monkey bars.
I traded a Switchback for my 16 Limited Low. I put a set of takeoff heated grips, slipon said and some LED lights. My better half would never go back, she can ride all day with no complaints. On the Switchback, she would complain about her knees and back after 45 minutes. It's a good bike, go for it.
I have a '17 Limited Low but with a regular seat. My salesman changed the seat out because he said the Low seat would jam the boys up. I'm 5' 7" on a good day and with boots I can still touch both feet flat on the ground. Yes the grips are small (I don't have large hands so I'm ok with that) and not heated (I live in SW Florida so no problem). I absolutely love the bike & traded a '16 fat boy since I couldn't pass up the deal I got.
