Wireless interface module... No more need for freewire
So for anyone fighting with Sena or Harley because of side tone or echo.... This may cure it. Of course this should be standard equipment IMO but at least something was done I guess
In the video for it all, it appears people are using a Sena. I think it said it's compatible with the BT of your choice. The freewire was supposed to help too... But not everyone has good results. So who knows if it works with every brand, or if it will work properly.
It's time to cut the cord with your bike. Now available for '14-later Touring and Trike models equipped with Boom! Audio 6.5GT Radios, this Wireless Headset Interface Module (WHIM) lets you communicate with your bike without being wired to it. The WHIM Bluetooth adapter permits wireless connectivity to the 6.5GT Infotainment system, allowing you to communicate via CB radio, hear turn-by-turn GPS directions, listen to your favorite radio stations and so much more all through your BluetoothŽ-enabled headset.
BluetoothŽ wireless technology
Integrated into the 6.5GT Radio
Wireless interface permits full access to the Infotainment features without the hassle of being connected to the bike
Seamlessly use all wired headset functionality (CB, Phone, Intercom, Navigation, Radio) without the compromises of aftermarket systems
Dual headset connectivity - two Bluetooth-enabled headsets can be connected to one WHIM
Module mounts behind the fairing and connects directly to the radio, eliminating external wires and connections to console and Tour-Pak communication port
Harley headsets utilize A2Dp protocol with the AptX codec for superior audio quality when compared to typical headsets utilizing Hands Free Protocol connection
Completely compatible with current H-D wireless headsets and volume can be adjusted from motorcycle hand controls
If the side tone issue is a Harley problem. The explain to me why the SENA does it on my 1996 FB. The problem is with SENA. Even when you turn it off it does it some times.
Question will the HD part interface with SENA 20 Head sets ?

If you look at the video it shows it connecting to the Sena 20
I have the Sena Freewire and Sena duel 20s. As long as I am connected to one other Sena 20 I am fine. When connected to more than one Sena 20 things start going south, screeching, static, etc. You cant share music through the Freewire you have to be connected to your phone.
This new module looks promising but I am going to have to see some reviews first.
