Need opinion on what to do? I got a priceon three different"Hog Pro"wheels 21" with 2 matching rotors chromeand metz mounted fora little over 1500. I can get the "Saver set"polished, 21" front 18" rear 2 matching rotors and both metzmounted fora few beans above 1900.00.
The thing is my rear end is lowered with theHD rear shocks and lowering links making my rear wheel almost invisable? Should I go with the chrome front only or get the rear too for a few more bucks?
I have the lowers chromed on the front so willthe wheels look dull in comparison with the forks if I choose to do the polished set?
You're gonna need to go with the chrome because as you said, a polished wheel will not match your chrome lowers. Additionally, I spent about three hours polishing the damn wheels on my truck this weekend because I chose to go with polished. Granted those probably get more abuse than the wheels of a motorcycle. I would go with the chrome front and when it bugs you enough and you have some extra coin to blow, get the chrome rear as well (unless the rear doesn't bother you at all because you can't see it)
By the way, what size is your windshield?? Looking to get a new one.
That's really what I was worried about that the wheel may look dull in comparison to the lowers. When My bike is off the kick stand you have to be almost laying on your stomach to see the rear wheel.
I would never put a polished wheel on my motorcycle. Too much time spent polishing when I could be riding. From what I have seen/read, Hogpro has great service and pretty good pricing, but you can do better. I would PM Shooter64 for a wheel quote if you have a brand and style you want. As far as the rear goes, I would consider an 18" chrome solid disk. Easy to clean, and you get the better handling of going to the 18". But that's just me.

I have just enough OCD in me that having a polished rear and a chrome front would drive me crazy, let alone the lowers not matching up with the wheel. Also, the polished is tougher to clean, can pit, etc. I would bite the bullet and throw the chrome on both. JMHO.

Yea I'm a little OCD also. I figured the polished wheels might be more of a pita for me to want to deal with. I just thought the price was right.

The windshield is a factory 10 inch that I scuffed and painted inside. You can't tell it's painted.
I am overly OCD, I would have to change both. Just knowing the rear was not done, would bother me evertime I saw the bike. Even if I couldn't see the darn thing.
go with the same style Chrome front and back just Dont buy the Chrome pulley and Rear Disk for the back because you will never see those chrome peices tucked behind the saddlebags. What kind of chrome screws are you useing to hold your shield in?
