So I was at the dealer kicking tires. They had a 2016 FLHXS with 209 miles that was a demo for general manager. They wouldn't budge on the price and valued my ride at $11,000.
So based on that I'll probably keep my bike.
So with that being said, what brand are using for extended bags with 2014 function?
Also how are you mounting your cell/gps and wiring it? Any issues with using a cell phone for gps?
The number they put on your bike is meaningless...what they wanted in addition to the 11k (difference) is what matters...and?....
IMO your bike is awesome...trade to a 16? meh...to a 17 mehbe!!

It's not so much the price for the new bike(s) as it is the loss that you (or I) would have to on our bike (sell or trade-in) in order to "upgrade".
I have a '13 CVO Ultra which I bought new just about 5 years ago this month.
A "ballpark" estimate on what I could get if I sold the bike myself, or if I traded it in, in order to get a new bike would equate to more than a $500 per month loss on my bike!
For that much money per month, I could lease a Cadillac and drive it 12 months out of the year vs the 5 (or so) months that I could ride my bike provided that it doesn't rain!!!
I'd like to get a new Tri-Glide sometime in the future but I'm not desperate enough to give my bike away in order to buy theirs.
Traded in 2007 and 2008 UCs fully paid with crap load of upgrades on them to make them ride good and comfortable for 2015 Rushmore Limiteds didn't need much upgrading to make them ride or look good right out of the box.
If you were to have the itch, recommend taking all of that awesome stuff off,. and either use it on the new one, or sell..I did that when I upgraded, and came out with 1500...towards new stuff for the new bike...hahahaha

My intention was to take everything off that would fit on the 2016 including my exhaust. The dealer said leave the exhaust on because if it runs like crap the value of trade would go down even through they acknowledged the extras didn't matter to them. I have the stock slip ons and remove the PCV. Would run fine.

I was adding $3000 in parts and labor. Still wouldn't budge on the price of their bike. I'll wait till winter when there is snow on the ground and may try again.
Check out https://www.ironacesspeedshop.com for a gps mount. They look sweet and put the gps in your line of sight and off the bars.
Also, check out the zumo gps by garmin. mount is awesome, weather proof, vibration resistant, etc... I have one works great. I don't think the standard car gps hold up to the abuse
Good idea 😀 I'm toying with the idea of the Fairing Plus CVO fender and one touch saddlebags.
I have a 2010 and a 2017. Had a 2016 for a season and a half. I would not make the trade for another twin cam if I were sitting where you are. The M8 might be worth it but not for the soak they are offering you now. You have a paid for good looking reliable ride.
The bags are an easy add and resell later. I like the GPS and don't understand the batching about it but I don't use it like some do as the end all to a destination. I use it more for showing upcoming street names as I usually know where I am going. It's nice to have everything built in so if you want it its there if not it's not in the way.

My "po-boy infotainment system" is a Galaxy S6 Active in a Kury TechMount on the left handlebar, works better and is more flexible than the Rushmore set-up... only have 1 device to learn / keep track of...
Bluetooth into the Iron Cross Audio modified HK Headunit or the Cardo Scala G9 Comm units in our helmets...
I run a USB charging adapter in the cig lighter or hardwire one and run it up the handlebar
