While I would love to do a complete rebuild I am just a poor working man. I bought the bike end of June so have only made 2 payments on it and this happens. The bike purchase was a big financial step for me as I would guess it would be for anyone. If a complete rebuild were in order/needed I am not sure where that money would be coming from. I understand that just new cams and lifters will probably come back to bite me in the *** but its what I can afford right now.

This is the second post iv seed on here about failed woods night prowler liftesr.
Not much has been posted about their newer alpha series lifters. Im on of the few that has the alpha series.
What cams are in the bike. High lift cams are always harder on the lifters. stronger valve springs put even further stress on the lifters.

Yeah, that's lookin kinda used up. The bore next to it irsn't really pretty, either. A good machne shop could bore and sleeve those, but you're into taking it completely apart regardless.
If you do the work yourself, most of the cost is gaskets (if the main androd bearigns are good). That's easy for me to say, though, with maybe 50 years experience building engines and untold thousands worth of tools in my rollaway.
