You made the right choice.I went through the same dilema you did. After much research and hands on comparing with buddies fairings, I concluded Dead Center to be the best by far and still after owning mine for several months believe it to be the same. The guy's who try and rationalize howany other is better or even equal,have samepersonality traits as those who arguea Honda is as good of a touring bikeas a Harley!Apples and oranges!! Good call!!
The DC fairing will be going on my RK also. After getting caught in the "storm" during Street Vibrations, the factory winshield doesnt offer much protection from the elements.
