SteelerDude. Good point! I am going to be changing to the Sundowner seat for two up riding. I also want the CVO low profile seat for when it's just me on the bike. I'm hoping to find a shield that will work well enough with either seat.
I spoke to John at freedom shields and he suggested to visit a Harley dealership and sit on a roadglide ultra. It has a 14 inch windshield on it. It wasn't above my eyeline, but I was still a little concerned with the height being too high. A new seat may make it the perfect height though. I will wait til it arrives and post an update.

I am 5'10" and have a Freedom Shield 13" model. It's my summer time touring sheild and love it. I could have done the 14" too. I have a 14" LRS and it's on now for winter. Both are great.
Yes, former batwing owners think they look like ****. Actually, they look like "Road Glide"
Go to roadglide.org and you'll see that the Madstad is the most preferred, by a huge margin.
I heard that the newer model of fairing, the Madstad is not as noticeable change cause the fairing is much improved with aerodynamics. Do you feel a difference?
Ive had a Windiest on my RG since I bought it. Works fine for me.
I understand that the MadStad is the best performing windshield out there, but I just can not get over the look of it.
Ive spent a lot of time and money making my bike perform the way I want, making it comfortable to me, and looking the way I want it to look.
My bike is not my get me to work and home vehicle, its my toy. I just can't put that shield on my bike.
Everybody makes the best choice for themselves. Just my .02
