Default Grip replacement

We purchased a set of used chrome harley grips for a 2002 Road King Classic. The throttle side is too tight when we tighten the housing. Any suggestions?

check alignment, sounds like something is off. I just did throttle cables Thursday and mine seemed tight until I got everything aligned and tightened up.

The grip should have some end play. ( move slightly up and down the bar ) If it doesn't, loosen the switch assembly and move it slightly outwards. My theory is you shoved the assembly all the way up the bar and the grips are rubbing inside on the end of the bar and against one side of the channel and not in the center of it.

Good luck
