okay i followed the instructions on the radio update now my radio wont do anything. it displays the radiobut none of the controls work. it wont turn on it wont turn off, it wont change modes and it wont eject the upgrade cd. i have removed the maxi fuse and waited 30 seconds prior to reinstalling nothing is working any suggestions.

Is it just me, or is there just something odd about a radio that requires software updates? Why does everyone always have to reinvent the wheel? Radio tecnhology is not new, and complex is not always better. The radio in my 05 works great. [sm=dontgetit.gif]

mine worked great with the 7.11 version...never a skip, never ever a prob....well ole kdietz got an update from bountyhunter and loaded it in my bike....guess what....now my radio is goofy actin....guess i forgot to put the orange tape on it [:-]

I cant get the update to work , my problem is the radio comes on every time I start the bike . I shut it off b 4 putting it away .

Bryon.. you can go back to the 7.1 version.. do a search on HK Software - there's a link to a guy who's got all the different versions..
